Click & Collect

Usually, when a customer creates an order online, the shipment is delivered to his address. With Click and Collect, the customer also buys online, but he collects orders at a designated retail location. It combines the convenience of online shopping, the comfort of collecting goods in-store, and the efficiency of bringing the product home.

Click & Collect

Click and Collect, also known as BOPIS (Buy Online, Pick Up In Store), is a delivery method in which customers place orders for goods online and then pick them up at a designated retail location, and not anticipate the regular delivery.
The Click & Collect process begins when a customer orders online (on a website or mobile app) and selects a retail location for pickup. Once the order is ready, the customer receives a notification and can pick up the items at their store.

A customer places an order online and selects the option for collecting an order in-store. For each location, a retailer can choose whether the orders can be paid online only, or by cash on delivery.

After placement, the order is processed, and when it is ready for pickup, a retailer notifies the customer via email, Viber or SMS message with security authentication for secure collection.

The customer shows security authentication to a salesperson in a physical store and collects the order.

  • Free-of-charge delivery
  • Flexible time and location for order pickup
  • Shorter delivery time
  • Reduced chances for errors

For retailers, Click & Collect can help to drive foot traffic to their stores, leading to impulsive buying and further sales. Almost half of the customers purchase additional items while collecting their orders in-store. In addition to that, this method reduces shipping costs significantly.
